The ibrary, with co-sponsor The Fox and the Flowerpot Pub, presents a series of six outdoor concerts scheduled for Wednesdays from June 30 to Aug. 4 in the courtyard at 109 Old Kingston Rd. in Pickering Village, Ajax. Each Wednesday evening beginning at 7:30 p.m., storytellers will swap stories on a variety of themes. Performers include more than a dozen of Canada's best-known authors and storytellers: Dan Yashinsky, George Blake, Aubrey Davis, Alec Gelcer and Lynda Howes among them. Storytelers from the Durhamn Folklore Society will open the series on June 30. They include Dianne Chandler, Michelle Darcy, Carollyn Hart, Margaret Kropf, Lucy Littleton, Rob Owens and Blake.
