In its first game against a local tearn from the Chittinango Soccer Club, Wolvenines rallied for a 4-1 victery with Grahamn MacLean, Mathew Paciga, Dion Warren and Kevin Taylor scoring for the Whitby side, sponsored by Dundas-Centre Guardian Drugs and Follett's Trade Bindery. Robert Lacrois played well in the Whitby net. The tearn faced a deternmined side froni Cobourg in its next match but managed another 4-1 victory. Whitby's goals were scored by Jason Evelyn, Mark LeBlanc, Macean and Taylor. In its third gaine of the day in oppressive heat, Whitby was matched against the Syracuse Blitz Soccer Club.
