JuIv 14, 1993 Under-13s win Rochester tournae-%nt Whitby's Bank of *Montreal under-13 boys rep soccer won the third annual, Greece Cobras Soccer Tournament in Rochester, N.Y. over the July, 10 to il weekend. Whitby Raiders battied five cifferent teanis in bot weatber. In gaine one, Raiders played the Camibridge Youtb Soccer Club froin Camnbridge, Ont., wnning 5-1. Robbie Adamns opened the scoring with a header on a pçss by Daniel Dominer. Tope Akinbiyi, James West-Bentley, Demmer and Brian Rainey collected one goal each, wbile Michael Sohleifer earned two assists with accurate passes. In the second gaine, Whitby went on a scoring spree with a 16-0 victory over. the Mexico Youth soccer teain foin New York State. Dominer bad a banner gaine with four goals, wile other scorers were Akinbiyi (tbree), Adamns (two) and singles to Mark * Engelage, Matt Brady, Brandon Cedar, mark Cassidy, Scott Adamson, Bryant Harte and West-Bentley. In the process, Whitby bas outscored their opposition with 23 goals for and only six against. Against their most recent opponent, Malvern, Whitby beld the balance- of play and had numerous acoring ,opportunities resuiting in a comifortable 4-1 victory.
