In gainte one, Whitby, sponsored by -Dundas Centre Guardian Drugs, started strong and juniped te an early three-goal lead but had ta settle for a 3-3 tie against a pressing Chinguacousy squad. Blaine Down led the Wihitby scring with two goals while Jay Harrison added the single. Asises went te Stevenson (two), Robert Lalonde, Steven Farquharsen and Morasse. York-Simcoe provided the opostion*i gaine two which saw Whitby post a convincing 6-3 win. Goal scorers were Down, Bobby McBride, Stevenson and JeffFrazer. The final round-robin gaine lated Whitby againet arch-rival Peterborough. Whitby camne up on the short end of a 5-4 contest. Goal scorers were Frazer, Down, Stevenson and Morasse.
