Ice Fyre members plIan to com- pete in Finland and Sweden in January. Team seeks skaters The Ajax aduit precision skating team needs skaters for their newly formed recreational team. The teamn will practise on Monday nights from 10 to 11:30 p.m. at the Ajax Community Centre, under the coaching of Mena Gibney. The team wiIl go te two competitions this winter. Meanwhile, Markham took advantage of Whitby mistakes. Fer the tournament, Brandon McBride scored three goals, Michael Kosiw and Tyler Harri- son two each, with one each by Billy Deir, Paul Ranger, Ryan Tutak and Honnie Robertson. Kowiw, McBride, Chris Nemisz and Mark Gleeson each earned moat game most valuable player awards during the tournament. The team was formred Sept. 7 by returning head coach John Fox, assistant coaches Stu Seed- house and Ron Tutak and newly appointed mtgnager Jerry Kosiw. Ten playera have returned from last year's team and there are six new players. Nemiaz and Marc Gleeson share goaltending defence p layera are Jamie Vox, Jeffrey Seedhouse, Adam Thibedeau, Karen Farquharson and Sean Hill, forwards are Kosiw Harri- son, Andrew Pigra, hanger, James Liske, Deir, Tutak, MeBride and Robertson.
