Sophomnore Andy Brereton of Whitby, a former Anderson CVI student, placed in two events for Western Michigan University's rnen's track squad Jan. 15 at a quadrangular indoor track meet in Bowling Green, Ohio. Brereton was first in the 55 meters with a time of 6.43 and was third in the 200-meter event with a tinie of 22.46. Western opened its 1994 indoor season by scoring 64 points in defeating Toledo, 45; Bowling Green, 44; and Findlay, 11.
