In the second gamne, played Sunday morning, Whitby took the early lead on a second inning triple by St. Jean fallowed by an RBI sacrifice by Richard Sagan. Pickering quickly tied the game up in the bottomn of the second on back-to-back doubles. That was it for Pickering as the Whitby hurlera, Sagan, Culleton and Thorpe, held Pirates off the board. The big bit of the gane came in the fourth inning when Williaxnson and Culleton scored on a two-out double by Brown. In the sixth, Whtiby added two more rima when St. Jean bit bis third triple of the series, driving in Culletan and thon scoring on an overtbrow. Brown scored again in the seventh ta cap the 6-1 victory. Team defonce improved steadily throughout the tournamnent. Jason Velacich, Kyle O'Brien, Jason King, Tira Liaki, Nicholas Cafter and Kevin Rempel were the defensive corps cbarged with the protection of the goaltending duo of Kyle Clancy and Michael Leahy who had solid outings in their asat two starts.
