The Early Childhood Educator of the Year receptiora will take place at Harmony Creek Golf and Country Club on Friday, Oct. 14 and the conference. at Durham Colege, Oshawa campus, on Saturday, Oct. 15. Dr. Kathleen Moorecroft is guest speaker at the reception. The conference » keynote speaker, Ronny Kiassen, is a community development facilitator with the South Oshawa Community Development Project. Morning and afternoon workshops, geared to "relax, revive anid rebuild," include such topics as stress therapy through massage, aromatherapy, nutrition and relaxation; creative art-toddler style; play therapy at school; medication, iliness and childcare; cross-cultural play.
