Owners of Family Kartway Amusement Park on Highway 12 have asked the Ontario Munici- pal Board (0MB) te reject a zoning bylaw approved by Town council last July. The bylaw would allow the Durham separate schooi board to build the school on the northeast corner of Taunton Road and Highway 12 (Breck Street). In an Aug. 18 letter, Gary Sorichetti formglly notified Town officiais ef his family's objections to the bylaw and indicated that their reasons would be forthcom- ing. (The Sorichettis have owned. the 33-acre park north of the proposed schooi site since 1990.) But as the staff report notes, "such documentation has not been provided te date," aîthough an agent for Family Kartway met with planning staff in Sep- tember. Vandalism spree in' West Lynde Windows were smashed on 15 cars in a -vandalism spree over- night Friday in West Lynde. Seven cars parked on the street or in driveways on Michael Boulevard, four on McCullough Drive, two on Clarence and one each on Bayview Avenue and Carter Drive, had driver's side front door windows windshields or rear windows broken.
