On Saturday, Whiitby travelled te Markham and dominated for a 13-2 win. WhiÙtby opned the scoring on a goalby Jade Blight and tlien took a 2-0 lead when Heather Peel feund the net late in the first period. There was lots of action in the period with good scoring opportunities at both ends. Barrie made things close with one goal near the end of the period and an early second peried goal te tie it at 2-2. In exhibition games, Whitby beat Oshawa 4-0 with a strong performance by goalie Heidi * Schlitt. Whitby tied Pickeing 7-7 and defeated Pickering 8-6. In their first league game tweens defeated Whitby petite AA 10-2. In their second game, Whitby defeated Oshawa tween A 5-4. Against Pickering, Alison Williams and Kristen Mllar each got two goals and two assists, Victoria Kauffman two goals, Kristie Jennings a goal and an assist, and Amy Moulton who scored the winning goal and had three assists. Also assisting were Courtney Reed with three, Nicole Young with two and Katie Scott with one. Rebecca GiII played a strong game in goal. Whitby was unable te corne back froim a four-goal lad by Oshawa. The final goal of the game was scored by Katie Scott.
