Durham Region's top employers, financial consultants, politicians, physicians and pharmaciste were invited to the seminar held at the Holiday Inn, Oshawa. The goal was to form a local multiple stakeholder committee to addàress community concerns about rising prescription and health care costs. The association believes'that a community approach to the presciption drug plan cost issue will yield far greater savings than a single employer's efforts. Through its consulting service, the Durhamn Region Pharmacists' Association offers free advice on nxanaging the coats of employee, drug plan benefits.
