The plot takes a twist when the family is presented with star- tlin g information by the dauge r(Michelle AlIderson) which takes aIl members cf the family on an emotional roller- coaster ride that offers ta, the audience a blend of comedy and drama along with an underlying theme that the entire family can learn. "It's about the eneration gap,» says Renshaw, and how atti- tudes have changed fromn when this oIder generation when it was a case of «You did the right thing -- you married the girl." The audience will also enjoy the performers' interpretations cf the characters. Sa ys Renshaw: "It's a very balanoed cast, really. Everyone has about the same amount of lines. "I think the one who has the least Uines is the son, John. And even thoughi he has the. least lines, he has a very strong moment on stage. "And that's the beauty of this play -- everybody has their moments." Feb. 9 marks the beginning of the play's run which goes for three weekends (Thursday te Saturday) with seniors taldng in a complimentary show on Feb. 8. Tickets are available at Lafon- taine Trading Post, 106 Dundas St. W. in downtown Whitby (430- 3775) and are going for $12.50 per persan. The cost cf a ticket also includes a late lunch that will be served. Frosted Fury fundraiser Six bands will perform at 'Frosted Fury,' a concert in Osh- awa on Saturday, Feb. 18 ta raise funds for t he Simncoe hall Settlement House.. Proceeds from the show, te be held in the Settlement House auditorium 387 Simcoe St. S. will help §imncoe's winter foo drive.
