Notif ication This is to intorn the public that Consurners Cas is proposing to instaîl a 16 inch natural gas pipeline fr-orn oneC of their existing lines on Taunton Road to the Atlantic Packaging facilities on Thickson Road south of Highway 40 1. The puipose of the pipeline is two fold: to supply gas to a proposed Co-Generation Plant at Atlantic Packaging and to reinforce the present gas. distribution system in Whitby. Consumners Gas has retained Acres International to undertake a route selection and environrnental assessrnent for the proposed gas pipeline. Preliminary alternative routes for the pipeline are shown on the map. In order to obtain public input into this proposal and discuss the prelirninary criteria for route selection Acres is holding a public meeting on: February 1, 1995 at 7:30 p.m. Meeting Hall, Whitby Municipal Building, 575 Rossland Road East, Whitby.
