Whitby started the tournament with a 4-O win over Unionville. Mike-Melissis scored a goal and set up two others ini earming game MVP honours, Millar recorded the shutout. Whitby then blanked Markham 6-O, Jeffrey getting the shutout. Chris Bowler scored three goals and Melissis added a goal and three assits. Bowler earned the game MVP award. Whitby blanked Leaside 2-0, Millar with the shutout and MVP honours. In the championship game, Whitby edged archrival Ajax 1-O behind the shutout goaltending of Jeffrey and a goal by. Mike MacPhee, set up by Jason Cordon and Jordan Hayes. MacPhee got MVP honours. The tournament stopped a seven-game w inless streak in tournament play for the Whitby team., The victories, over Unionville, Leaside and Ajax offset losses to each of these teams ini North York Hockey League play.
