Former Asbburnarea residont Brett Osier thon moved into second place. Further back in- the field, Dwayne Glasibergen movedl to the inside of Teune and thon got sideways, spinning out second place pointa driver Larry Jackson who was thon t-boned by Darrin Wzigglesworth. Points leader Jim Rositer thon moved into third place on the restart, getting by Teune, who was loose eiting 1> turn four. Osier, thon runming in, second place, pulled off the track with mochanical difficulties. At the halfway point, Frederick had built himself a half-straightaway lead, maintaining that advantage until,- with just two laps, loft, another caution flag catne out, bunching up the field. Again Frederick was able to get a good restart, holding off Rositer and taing the checkered flag for his frst featuro win.
