Aý,t the librairy Writing contest begins The Why Public Library witing contest is being launched during Whitby iàbrary Week,ý Oct. 20-27. Writers of ail ages are invited to participate. There are three contests and five different age categories relating to the theme "A library says a lot about a town." The contest is co-sponsored by the Whitby Public Library board and Witby Business in Action. Cash prizes worth $1,000 are avaible to be won, and WIll be awarded during Whitby Librazy Week in October 1997.
