Gardens -to light up The Festival of< Lights begins at Cullen Gardens on Saturday and continues until Jan. 5. New this year will be nine giant, animated Christmnas cards, some with fibre optic lîghting. Also to be featured, starting in December, is the 'Wish Tree' in support of the Starlight Foundation that grants wishes cf children who suifer from longtermn sickness or disease. As more donations are nmade, more lights on the tree are turned on - simlar to the Tree of Charity that has been set up in downtown Whitby for many years at Christmas.
