LAW PROGRAMS The Whitby Public Library is presenting three lectures on law related issues. Each session will start at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. On February 27, Mark Burch of the firmn of Sums, Morton, McTnerny and Brady will speak on income tax law. on march 5, Edward Schlien of the firm of Dixon and Sehien will speak on small business law. Consumer protection will be the topic of March 12 program. The speaker for this topic will be announced in the near future. TRAVEL FILM On February 13, the Whit- by Public Library will presrnt "Elie Wiesel's Jerusalem." This Jewish writer and storyteller will take the viewer through the legends, myths and history of this religious city. Wiesel has devoted most of his life to the articulation of Jerusalemn as a spiritual focus of the world. The show begins at 7p.m. in the auditorium and ad- mission is free. SINGLE PARENTS MEETING The Whitby chapter of the One Parent Family Ass. will hold their weekly coffee and general meeting on Monday night at 8:30 p.m. in the Gold Room 0of the Centenial Building on Centre Street South.
