The Championship trophy donated by the Lions Club of Whitby was won for the second year by the Ajax Aquatic Club, with the Whit- by -Iroquois Swim Club taking second spot. The Oshawa Aquatie Club placed third and the Pickering Blue Doîphins were fourth. Whitby's swimmers tur- ried in a strong performance capturing a host of ribbons and medals. Chris Donnelly was the top WISC swimmer splashing Wo victory winning four gold and five silver medals, to capture the high point irophy in bis 10 and under age group. Whitby's -youngest swimmer, five year oid Emma Stone par- ticipating in her first ever swim meet won sixth place for her 50 metre breast stroke in the 8 and under girls. Donna Goulding won two gold and four silver in girls 11/12, with Denise Van- doleweerd taking three silver and a bronze, Elizabeth Foster one gold and silver, Tammy Qattes two bronze, and Uisa Pitters a bronze.
