This is the Fifteenth An- nual County Town Carnival and ail is ready to make it the biggest and greatest carnival to date. Starting July 20 with the Legion Beauty Pageant and con- dluding Augaust 4 with the annual fireworks display. "This year's carnival has more to entertain the citizens of Whitby than ever before," states Robin Lyon, Blood carnival president. "We have something. for everyone, food pavillons, horse shows, the carnvial alni A supplernentary blood donor clinic will be held by the Whitby branch of the Canadian Red Cross on Monday July 21 in the recreation hall of the Witby Psychiatrie Hospital. The event will take place for 12:30 to 4p.m. A Red Cross spokesman said that the clinic is primarily for WPH staff members although they want as rnany people as possible to corne out who did not give blood in the June clinic. parade, open houses, trade fair, the even popular talent show, even the downtown merchants are paticipating this year and a rnidway for the children. The carnival will be held in ail areas of the Town of Whitby, Kinsmen Park, Heydenshore Pavilion, Iroquois Park, the Municipal Building, the soc- cer f ields, Centennial Building and the downtown.
