Among those attending were the couple's eight children, Mrs. Karen W"hite of Woodstock, Sandrae of Ajax, Mrs. Donna Dickson 0f Ajax, Phil of Whitby, Mrs. Brenda McCoy of Wood- stock,Mrq, Norma Parton of Whitby, Doug of Whitby and Debbie of Maple Grove. Also in attendance were twelve grandchildren as welJ as Mrs. Bragg's mother, Mrs. Helen Park of Bowman- ville. Arnbutanee The Whitby Ambulance Service responded to 90 cails for service during the week that ended on Thursday, July 31 id midnight. According to service owner Bill Cocker the ser- vice responded to 33 routine calls and 32 standby cals for other ambulance services in Oshawa and Ajax. The service also respon- ded to 25 emergency catis including five motor vehicte accidents. The D>urham Region Rape Crisis Centre is sponsoring a march in protest of the in- creasing occurances of violence against women Monday August 11.- Marchers will muster at the corner of Mary and King Streets in Oshawa at 9 p.m. Monday night. In her charge for the titie, Bendick started the second day's play with a two-under- par 34 on the front nine, a tremendous achievement for such a young player. She even beat her own club pro, Bob Panasiuk, by two strokes on that memorable nine holes. Riýtmi"ka Annely Riga, a qualified European instructor in the art of rythmic gymnastics, demonstrates a part of what her students can expeet to be doing corne fail when she opens her Modern Rythrnic Gymnastics Club "Ritmika". The club wil be held in the Ail Saints Church, 315 Dundas St. east in Whitby. As of yet no set days for the classes have been made. Classes wifl run from 2 p.m. un- til 5 p.rn. in one hour segments. The first two hours will be restricted to ladies while the third hour has been reserved for young girls. Rythmic Gymnastics'is a graceful, feminine way to keep fit.
