Many homes have boarders and roomers. Sunday evening service was well attended considering the warm weatheî. and those present were much impressed with the splendid discourse by Mr. P. Chapman of Pickering. Rev. Bick had charge of the Pickering services. Mrs. K. Caverly and Mr. Walace Horn sang nicely a vocal duet. The base-ball game, between Hampton and Solina, played in the Park Monday evening was one which created much interest. At the end of the seventh innings the teams were tied on a score of 16-16, which ne- cessitated an extra innings when Hampton won out witb a score o! 20-22. The program which followed the game consisted o! a play "Home Tics' presented by Albert St. Young People o! Oshawa. Entertainmenït was given between acts by Oshawa talent as well.
