There was a large attendance at the service of worship on Sunday rnorning. Rev. Lute took for his sermon "The Cross and the Tomb.'" Mrs. G. Brent sang a very appropriate solo and the choir furnished splendid Easter mus ic. A very unusual occurrence bas been noted in this community. In the last four years three sets of twins have been born within a radius of a mile and a quarter of this village. They are: John and Jo Ann Hoar, son and daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Alden Hoar; Gary and Gail, son and daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Trewin Scott and the new twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Skinner. The March meeting of MaplcŽ Grove Evening Auxiliary was held at Audrey Snowden's on March 22 with 20 ladies present. The worship service was conduet- ed by Audrey's group. The theme wàs "War for Love and Peace." Evelyn Tyler read the seipture and Winnie Brown lead in prayer. The study book was in the formi of a court of opinion on four questions concerning Ja- pan. Audrey Snowden, as lead- er, asked the questions and the answers were given by Winnie Brown, Evelyn Tyler, Ivy Cover- ly, Jean Munday. The winners of the Temper- ance contest were Lucinda War- wick and Marilyn Flintof f. Each member of the Auxiliary is asked to bring a snapshot of herse..' next meeting to be put in the scrapbook. The Auxiliary are supplying the choir for the W.M. S. service on Apnil lst, 1951. The next meeting will be beld at Ei)een Foley's with Eileeni's group in charge. The Couples Club meets at Maple Grove on April 5tb. The guest speaker will be Mrs. (Dr.) Miller. The Expiorers Group bave met each Tuesday evening for the last five weeks. Due to measies and flu ail of the girls have not been able to attend. The girls met at Mrs. C. Milîs on Tuesday, March 27 and prepared their din- ner.
