Thraugh the kindness of Mr. Harold Bennett, Mr. R. Pat- field and Mr. H. Sturrock, many of the tents and the large marquee were up and ready for occupancy when the girls arrived at the campsite. When the tent leaders were chosen and the girls allotted ta tents, beds were unrolled, uni- forms hastily exchanged for shorts and T. shirts and they wene ail set 'ta enjoy what ta many was the first experience of living in a tent; ta several the very first time of being away from home. A very full program had been arranged and every girl entened the vanlous events, which included a masquerade, Arabian night, Olympics night, Indian pow wow, binthday par- ty, water carnival, etc. The Guides' Own on Sunday even- ing was very impressive.
