Teacher Has1 the Same Authority Over a Scholar As A parent County Court Judge Liddell bas de-1 clared in the case of Principal Wil-i liam 11Le-vy of the Mili Roches Public Schlool, the authority of the teacher. The circumstance in evidenice in-' dicated that in the early part of April eight boys had left school without, permission, in consequencé of wbich tbey were suspended. An apology was demianded of them. Seven of the~ boys complied, but the eighth, young Wilfred; Robertsoni, son of Mr. Ever-j ett Robinson, ref used. It was alleged' that the principal assembled the' scbool in suspending the scholars and used the words, "scabs" and"cw ards." On the part of the teacher it was stated that addressing the school he bad warned the boys not to cal other boys "scabs" and "cowards,", because if there wqere any "scabs" or "4cowards" concerned in the incident,' it was the eight boys suspended, and not the others.
