Movers played three games with a much improved team effort. Movers played in Cobourg Friday night, shorthanded with first stringers Kevin Tink, don Janack and goal scorer David Tower who is moving to Oshawa out of action. Prest- ons came out with a point with a one ail score, Len Dyck firing from the shot on a passout from behind the net by John Foote and Rob Worden. Movers played at home Saturday afternoon in an exhibition game with Oshawa LNHL Blues, Movers coming out on top with a 5-2 score. Grant Brock put Movers out frpnt, Doug Dilling, Tim Almond assisting. Almond counted for Movers assisted by Brock and Kent Wilcox, Mark Abbott fired the third, Almond and Kevin Tink for his tirst poin t of the season. Brock counted the fourth, Abbott and Dilling assisting. Dilling fin- ished the scoring assisted by Almond. Movers played Whitby one the the powers of the league, Sunday eveing in Brooklin, with a 9-0 count for Whitby. The score was no indication of th e play with Whitby able to finish their play where Movers could not. After two periods of play a 4-0 lead for Whitby. Movers had an early third period letdown with Whitby scoring three quick goals to put the game out of reach. Bay Ridges Blank Gardens- Pee Wees Wiho Beat Murkhom, Hampton Gardens Mînor Pee Wees won one and lost one in Lakeshore League play. In Bay Ridges, Wednesday night, we lost 4-0 to the leagues first place teami.
