Mr. and Mrs. Herb SprUitt, Oakwood were Friday after- noon and evening' dinner guests with. Mrs. Lawrence Sterling Morris and Donna, Scarborough were luncheon guests with hier mother. Mr. Morris with his hockey teamn played a friendly game in Omemee. t was a close game ail the way. Final score 5-4 in favour of the Scarborough team. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Grahame Fish were hosts for a social evening when the entertained about thirty mem- bers of the Buttons and Bows Club of Bowmanville. Local folk who attended were Mr. CHIQUITA, DOILE,DEO and Mrs. Herb Bedford, Mr. and Mrs. Normnan Mairs, Mr. ff and Mrs. Gordon Metcalf, Mr. l and Mrs. Balfour Moore. Heaslip thanked ail for cards and fruit sent her when ill. The roll eall was answered with a verse containing the word "Charity". H-ym-n "Pass Mïe Not O Genitie Saviour" and the Mizpah benediction closed the first part of the meeting. For the programme Mrs. Johfistone read a poem, "The Ladies' Aid". Mrs. Thomnpson give an excellent Historical Review of the Ladies Aid from 1910-1975. A lovley Valentine lunch was served by the hostess and assistant Mrs. N. Johnstone. Mrs. H. Visser voiced the appreciation. Preshyterian Church In the Presbyterian Church Mr.-Brian Fraser chose "Pic- tures of Jesus". as the theme& for his message.
