Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown designed with a Victorian neckline with Chan-, tilly lace enchanced by pearîs, puffed sleeves, an d hi gh waisted. A Juliette cap held floor length veil and she carried a bridal bouquet of 15 pînk roses and white carna- tions. The groom was attired in a dark green suit. Mr. and Mrs. Shackelton are now residing in Oshawa. ELIZABETH V'ILLE Anniversary services were held at Garden Hili cburch on Sunday. A full church enjoyed the special musical numbers put on by our choir along with a few guests. Miss D. McKil- lop played while Mrs. Cruise led the singing. Rev. R. Bartlett and Mrs. Bartlett were with us as well as our guest speaker Rev. Douglas Muir, from Toronto. We were pleased to see Rev. Ramjit again af ter his stay in t h e hospital. Our A.O.T.S. Men's Club are baving a -social evening Oct. 27 with Miss Kellogg giving a report and slides on bier trip. The Men's Club sang at Shiloh anniversary in the afternoon. 1 was able to attend and report some excellent singing by them. Rev. White- ley of Sarnia was the speaker. On Tuesday afternoon the United Church Women Unit 2 met at Mrs. W. Banister's home. The president Mrs. Ken Trew, presided. The moments were read and approved Mrs. H. White had the devotionai. Plans for our turkey supper; were given and lists distribut- ed. We still intended quilting,,\_ this .-eek. Mrs. H. White had the program. She touched on several of the Canadian Mis- sions and will tell us more, on other country missions before we decided where to send our mission allocations, Lunch was served. Mrs. Dave Pultz, matron of honon, and sister of the bride, and the bridesmaids, Mrs. Ron Webb, sister of the groom, and Mrs. Joe Kona- rowski, were gowned alike in blue floral gowns of nylon over taffeta, with short sleeve, bolero jackets trimmed with white lace. Each carried a cascade of white and blue tinted carnations in a small umbrella ànd trimmed with blue ribbon. Best man was Ron Webb, brother-in-law of groom, and the ushers Mr. Howard Avery (bride's brother) and Mr. Roy Bedard. They were attired in powder blue jackets and navy trousers, the groom wearing a powder blue tuxedo.
