The second group of skaters will start the last five weeks next week. The Ski Club has a hundred or so enthusîasts enrolled and they have ideal conditions this winter for skiing. There are quite a number of other very interesting electives being done riglit in the classrooms at thle school, (macaroni articles, badminton, picture making, etc.). Mutual Aid Meeting Manvers Township Fire Department - Bethany Di- vision hosted the January meeting of the Victoria County Mutual Aid Association in the Parish Hall, Bethany on the 27 of January at 8:00 p.m. The meeting was opened by the 1975 Executive, the Bob- caygeon Fire Dept., who were in charge. The -meeting was then turned over to the newly elected executive for 1976 who are members of the Manvers Township Fire De pt. The new president is Mr. Earl Walker of Janetville and the secre- tary-treasurer is Mr. John Volkenberg also of Janetville. The business of the meeting was coflcluded and the guest speaker Mr. Allan Williams, Assistant Fire Marshal of Ontario, was introduced b Manvers Townsh{* Fire Chie , Mr. Ross Neals. er. Williams topic was on the new Fire Statisties Reporting System. With the adoption of the new system the up-to-date facilit- ies of the Provincial Govern- ment Data Processing Centre will be used to record in great detail the facts on fire incidents which have notbeen available ln the past.
