The kiddie Kobbler Elves ",.suggest for Christmas: kFancy Silippers kUmbrellas SCozy, Mukluks-and kSlipper-Sox Oshawa Centre> BOOK by D.M. Diiieen, Chief Librar- ian, Ne^castle Public Library System "Full Knee-deep lies the witer sriow"--well it's flot quite up to the knees yet but il soon will be. And just the thing to banish the winter blues is a new book beside a warma fire. Here are a few suggestions. The Company by John Ehrlichman This book has been describ- ed as "no one else could have written it' and this is truc. It's about a president, his many advisors, and an event sound- ing suspiciously like Water- gate. Well, Ehrlichmnan ought to know. We Are VourSons by Robert and Michael Meeropol In 1953 Jullus and Ethel Rosenberg were executed in the United States. Their case was widely known then and was again widely heard of in Nizer's book The 'Inpolosion Conspiracy. The Rosenberg's were charged with treason which at that time held a death sentence. New looks at the' trial and the evidence seemns to show that they were framned. This book is by their two sons, age 6 and 10 at the bime of their parents' execu- tion, and is their vindication of charges against their parents. Life with Lindsay and Crouse by Cornelia Otis Skinner This is a biography of two nice guys who finished first, Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. Together they created such Broadway hits as The Sound of Music, Life with Father and Caîl Me Madam. Skinner tells their story and surrounds it with anecdotes about their stars, Bob Hope, On Dec. 4th, 1976 clos e, friends, neighbours ar tives gathered at * United Church Hallt brate the, DiamondM Anniversary of Mr. au 37 Wn St.WestCharles Johns of 215 N.
