Captain Doug Lewis of Bowmanvilie 'Salvation Army conducted the service. He used the 23rd Psalm as Scripture reference. This Psalm was to symbolize the "present", the 22nd Psaim to symbolize the past, and the 24tb Psalm the future. The theme of Capt. Lewis's address was "Laying up treasure in Heaven". Duet singing by June Mutton and Ernie Reid was an enjoyment for the congregation. The accompaniment to the hymn singing was a fourteen piec Salvation Army brass band, greatly enriching the outdoors and meditative experience of each participant. Hymn singing inciuded "The Old Rugged Cross", "Wben the Roll is Called up Yonder" and "Amazing Grace." Rev. Harold Kempling, Enniskillen charge, deivered'tbe losing prayer. Mr. Archie Virtue of the Cemetery Board expressed appreciation to everyone who attended, but it is indeed a pleasure to relax and reflect, to meditate and to visit in the weli-kept surround- ings of Betbesda Cemetery, enhanced profusely by floral beauty the second Sunday of every September.
