NAtwraz ti MacDonald Ford Donates Library Book Ù, 4et Hydro Awards $10 Million Contract For Darlington The Montreal firm of CAE Electronics Ltd. bas been awarded the contract for control systems at the Darlington Generating Station. The estimated $10 million contract is CAE Electronies' fourtb for control system work from Ontario Hydro. The company, says Hydro, is now producing the control systems for the Bruce A and B generating stations and the Pickering B station. In connection witb the Pickering A station, the company created the nuclear powerplant simulator for training purposes, wbicb has become a model for nuclear systems around the world. Darlington's four control systems are due for delîvery to Ontario Hydro between 1979 and 1985. They are scheduled to go mbt operation between 1985 'and 1988-89 at a rate of one per year.
