Box 2471 Oshawa; Ontario L1H7V7 February 26, 1979 Dear Sirs: The Oshawa & District Branch of The Canadian Diabetic Association is mak- ing an appeal to all merchants in our Oshawa district for a donation during our NATIONAL APPEAL MONTH, which is March. Diabetes is the third largest health hazard in Canada. It is quite possible that you employ diabetics, and for this we thank you. Diabetics lead relatively normal lives, as I'm sure you are aware. Education and constant research needs financing each year, if our future generation is to benefit. Diabetes is not publicized as much as we should like, but with your contribution it will at least prove there is con- cern. We hope in this Branch to raise $5,000 for the Appeal; therefore, we ask your help to reach this target. Yours truly, Peter J. Hurst; President Oshawa & District Branch The Canadian Diabetic Association Give.~ THE HEART FUND 227, B. Morgan 200, M. Lewis 216, R. Forget 206. Friday Mixed R. Pearce 239, M. Pearce 219, M.
