Retirement Prov ides Time For Travel Like many retired couples, Mr. and Mrs. Ceci Rahmi of Bowmanville have -been travelling south to Florida during the last four winters. The Rahms, who were married 57 years last ý'ebruary, had dlone little ~ong-distance travelling before their first trip to Florida. Working on their farm northwest of Enniskillen near the Union Schoolhouse kept them busy duning the last 50 years. In fact, 1Irs. Rahm said that the first time she ever- set foot on a plane was four years ago.when she and her husband visîted Florida for the first time. Life in the sunny south seems to have agreed with the Bowmanville couple. The friendly people who are also living near their apartment in St. Petersburg are one of the attractions. "You'd think they had known you for years", Mrs. Rahm said. "We've met a lot of nice people down there," bher husband, Cecil agreed. Some of' the other attractions at St. Pete's include stores, shopping, hall gae and opportunities for sih-eeing. Married in 1922, the Rahms first met at a young people's group. Cecil Rahm was born in Tyrone 82 years ago and he attended school there. His wife, Helena, grew up at her father's farm west of Enniskillen.
