TOWN - of Newcastle's Director of Community Services, Thomas "Bud" Fanning, says that it is time for the municipality to take a bigger interest ini soccer and do something to help the game along. Mr. Fanning, speaking at the annual Bowmanville United Soccer Club banquet, last Friday night, said y '"that with the idea of improving soccer facilities, ,the municipality will be considering the feasibility of installing some new soccer pitches."
