For clients, undergoing the perm process has become easier, faster and more rewarding. For stylists perming has become more creative, more controllable and more foolproof than ever. Even dramatic shifts in fashion trends fail to have any adverse effect on the perming trend because todays busy woman has come to rely on the easier styling life perms assure. Stylists have learned to use perms to create fashion- right looks. First the short curly look swept the country, and is stîll very popular because of its wash and wear simplîcity. Setting, the hair has almost become a thing of the past. Even medium and longer length hair can now be permedand left to dry naturally without setting. Perms are being done differently than ever beore. The hair is being permed on everything from tooth Tyrone United Church formed the setting on Saturday, September 29, 1979 at 4 p.m. for tbe marriage of Carla Pbillips, daughter of Louis >and Uelma Phillips, R.R. 5, Bowmanville to Scott Stevens, son of Harold and Joan Stevens, RR. 6, Bow- picks to large, jumnbo rollers giving you the degree of curi that works best with your hair type as well:as your hair style. The most' important, factor involved in obtaining a perfect curi is hair condiiton. You can have the most expensive permanent wave on the market but if your hair is not in the best possible condition' to ýreceive it you will not get a satisfactory curi. if you have been a bit timid about trying a perm, this is the time to do it. Have your hair tested and if it is in good condition go to it and have it permedf, if not have it re-conditioned and then go to it.. You will be happy you did, it will give you freedom from styling, and that is exactly what we recommend for this busy faîl and winter sea son.
