H1e pointed out that the Go service could end at the area of the Courtice cloverleaf on Highway 401. This would serve the Newcastle area and also be close to the site of the Darlington Generating Station. At a-meeting of the Durhamn Region's finance committee last Thursday, December 13, Councillor Bruce McArthur, suggested that the region should encourage the Province of Ontario to extend Go rail service at least as far as Oshawa. Councillor McArthur said the extension of the Go rail service would discourage the resale of homes. t would encourage commuters to continue to live in Oshawa and VICE-PRINCIPAL At Clarke IL..
