Ovet 20 of the campany's staff were each presented with one last Friday, averaging in excess af $2000. This timely financial gain came about as a result of an emplayee profit sharing plan î Àwhich was implemented by « ÀýP 2fthe camrpany in Navember e,~7 1978. Last week the staff s received the first year's benefits from the pragram. The plan is a scherne wherehy campany profits are shared an a percentage basis îI ~ ~ Y with its emplayees. According ta Jensen's vice president, Bud Carby, it's an incentive program that rewards empioyees for their efforts. To be eligible for one of the cheques handed out Iast week, an employee must have been with Jensen Steel for the full fiscal year, Management at Jensen's is pleased with the results of the profit sharing scheme and maintain it is one that has worked well bath for the campany and its emplayees.
