They 'were very successflul and sold ail the fudge to raise $4650. We would like to extend our thanks to ail of the mnothers and to ail those who boughit the fudge. Debbie Heard ORONO GIRL GUIDES The Orono Girl Guides opened their meeting getting into- their six patrols and taking attendance. Later they marched into their horseshoe formation. The new Guides separated fromn the group and made stuffed doils by the name of "Harvey". The older Guides started their "Home Nurse" badge with the help of Mrs. Dean West and our new commissioner, Mrs. Tate. The older Guides discussed how to help a person fail to sleep, bed sores. and how, to give a person à sponge bath. The Pack of Guides later formned a circle and sang songs. They then stood up and Mrs. Tate taught the Girl Guides a newý singing game.
