In the first instance the Orono Tykes defeated Newcastle by a one-sided mar,,gin of 9-2. Mlatt Johnston registered the Orono shut-out while Scott PrescQtt went on a scoring spree with four goals. The other five goals were shared by Rod Armnstrong, Dona Stevens, Ed. King, Pete Bolton and Gleji Jenkins. On Sunday the samne Orono team registered thieir second win of the week-end fis time over the Bowmianville flouse League Al-Stars by a narrow mnargin of 3-2.
