The support price bas been set at $3W985 per tonne or $17.23 per cwt. This is 90 percent of the 5-year average mrket price indexed to reflect changes in the cash cost of production. The aver- age market price for 1977 White Beans bas been calcul- ated at $320.77 per tonne or $14.55 per cwt. The deficiency payment, therefore, is $59.08 per tonne or $2.68 per cwt.
