The Centre is located on the west bank ofl the Wilm-ot Creek just off the second loop of the X-Country Ski Tr-ails. (The location wilI be clearly marked.) Residents are encouraged to s;ki over to the Outdoor Saturday Education Centre beginning wvith the start of the trails at the west end of Station Street ini Oronio. For those Who may not yet be sure of the outlay of the trails, someone will be at th~e entrance to the trails at 1:00) p.m. Who will go to the C'entre. Entrance to the Centre may also be made by foot off Taunton Road. A small Park- ing lot does exist west of the Wilmiot Creek in a pine grove. Isapleton ~who operates hus own auction business in Newtonville placed second inthe competition last year when it was held in Winnipeg. He lost out to Maitoba's Garth Rog-ers. Frank stated hie is aiing, for first place this year. IN BEST POSITION SINCE 1979 lt was stated by both Mayor Rickard and treasurer Kathryn Camipbell at the Town's General Purpose Commnittee meeting on Monday that tax receipts for 1984 were the best for the Town since 1979. Th-e treasurer said it partly due to the fact the Town charges an interest rate on unpaid taxes h-igheri than bank interest.
