News by John Finlay Agricultural Representative 407 Agricultural Impact Study The consultants hired by the Minîstry of Transportation to research the agFicultural impact of various route sites, will be speaking at the monthly Durham Region Federa-1 tion of Agriculture meeting. The meeting is scheduled for the Solina Hall on Tuesday, February 27th at 8:00 p.m. Consultants will explain the methodology of their research and the key agricultural factors that will be considered when various routes are analysed and priorized. The Provin- cial Goverument has indicated that a multi-lane east-west highway will be constructed across Durham.Region. A great deal of study and public in- put wvill be received over the next few years. This meeting is an opportunity for farmers to have input 'into the agricultural impact part of the study.
