Hello Ne wcastle (Continued from page 6) There was a brief intermission, and door prizes were awarded. The grade eight students thanked ail who helped supervise the auditions and supported students in the 1991 Star Bright Show. Additional thanks were extended to the people who helped with the art work, and to teachers Miss Filion and Mrs. Long who helped so much in organizing the show. Just as young Cherie Siy noted this very special event was designed to bring the school communîty together, and the cooperation and teamwork was to be seen everywhere; sincerest thanks are again extended fromt students and staff to ail local businesses sponsoring the show from Newcastle - Stedman's, Guardian Drugs, Fat Daddy's Pizza, Mastro Pizza, IGA, Yummies Bakery, Flowers Plus, Pauline's Specialty Shoppe, Ron's Collectables, IDA and Roots Hair Design; and from Orono - Stutt's Pharmacy, Hair With Flair; Armstrong's IGA, Village Bake Shop, Apple Blossom Shop, Mrs. Claus Workshop and Viewer's Choice. Personally, 1 would like to give a standing ovation to ail students and teachers for putting on such a terrific night of fresh, generally "feeling great" entertainent. The show flowed wonderfully, 1 arn positive everyone in the room feit a little of the personal excitement of dhe performers, and the obvious pride the staff and students of St. Francis have in their school.
