Have you looked very hard at Newcastles local economy and young people? 1 am very concerned, as should you be about the level of unempîcyment and welfare. l'm speaking now as a former high school teacher with 12 years experience in education and job training. I know education for the workplace must be a continuing process so that our young workers can find jobs in a constantly changing market. Why arent there follow-up programs for young people after they beave school? Let's apply imagination and drive to put the process together.
