Kendal .HaIll News by Phyllis Lowery On Thursday, November 14th, the Ladies of Kendal His L.O.B.A. 1420 met at the Hall. We were pleased to have R.W. Sis. Marilyn Erwin, Gr. Mistress of the Or. Lodge of Ont. E. with us, also R.W. Sis., Isobel McFarland, Or. Deputy Lectuirer of the Gr. Lodge of Ont, W. and R.W. Sis Phyllis McRae, Honorary Member of the Gr. Lodge of Ont. W., Worthy Sis. Pat Oriffm, Past Couinty Mistress of Peterborough and District 5. We are fortunate to have among our own Lodge, two members of the Or. Lodge of Ont. E., R.W. Sis. Brenda Lowery and R.W. Sis. Cathy Switzer. Among those present for the pot-' luck supper and Lodge meeting were Sisters Linida Erwin, Ana Parks, Vema- Chamberlain, Tammy McRoberts and Bro. Fred Griffin ail of Tyrone L.O.B.A. R.W. Sis. Erwin and these other Sisters conducted our Election and the installation of officers for the coming year. Following supper and prior to the opening of Lodge we were pleased to have Sis. Terri Oriffin, present Jim Shaw a cheque for five hundred dollars. Remember the Turkey supper on Sunday, December 8ih serving 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tickets available aithme door, this will take place in the Kendal United Church. It is being sponsored by the Men of Kendal L.O.L. 405. One dollar of each ticket will be donated to a needy faniily. The next card party will bc on Friday, November 22, come on out and have a good time. Several members of the L.O.L. attended an Orange Service in Port Perry, last Thursday evening for the late Jerry Stinson. He will be greatly missed, he brought happiness to many through bis music and dancing.
