It is suggested that the more no rtherly eastern route would allow for further industrial and commercial development in the north of the City. How about fair comment? by Gord Mils MPP Durham East Just recently 1 have been receiving some rather nasty letters from local business regarding amendmnents to the Labour Relations Act. The writer's of these letters have obviously fallen victim to the ideologically. motivated attacks on the goverfiment whicb bas wrongly painted us as anti-business and just plain stupid. Because being anti- business is just plain stupid! Tbe NDP is flot anti-business! What the NDP expects is for business to treat their employees fairly, their customners fairly, their ..'competitors fairly and to respect the environment that is vital to the future of aIl of us. Most businesses try do that now but we bave a rigbt to expect that from all business.
