Bethany Outdoor Theatre production of Everyman A La Mode This summer's Bethany Outdoor Theatre production is Everyman A La Mode, a comîc re- invention of the medieval moralitY classic "Everyman". The play foliows the essential outline of the original story of Everyman as he enlists the help of aliegorical figures to fiee Death. The up-dated version, however, includes contemporary figures such as Psychology, Philosophy, Religiosity and even a Referee (to monitor political correctness). The plot also follows Elizabeth Kubler Ross's famous "five steps i facing death': denill, a2ager, bargaining, depression and acceptance. The first production of Everyman A La Mode received rave reviews by Toronto theatre critics. This second production has been adapted by Mr. Hasseli for presentation in the beautiful out- of-doors setting at the newly built, permanent site of the Bethany Outdoor Theatre, at M.R. Art, located on the south sîde of Highway 7A at the West end Of the village of Bethany. The dates of this year's Bethany Outdoor Theatre production of Everyman A La Mode are July 2, 3, 4 and 9, 10, il. Ontario Summer Craft Market More than 1,000 visitors are expected fro m throughout southern Ontario at the annuai Ontario Summer Crafts Market heid in Millbrook on Juiy 22.
