Tickets available from any Kinette. 1It was a great day for two young Orono Public School students who on Tuesday afternoon had the opportunity to take part in a tour of the area with Constable Strachen in the O.P.P. cruiser. Karen Carnegie (grade 3) and Steven Merrick (grade 6) won the opportunity by being winners of the Orono Public School bike rodeo. The rodeo was promoted by Mr. Crawford and Mr. Simser of the school along with representatives from the Newcastle detachment of the O.P.P. September 1967 Miss Linda Greenwood of the Sixth Line is teaching Grades 5 and 6 in Newtonville this coming year. Linda is a graduate of Peterborough Teacher's College. The Orono Public School opened a week ago with an enrolment of 252 students which is equal te that of the previous year. Grades six te eight are again being conducted on a rotary basis every aftemnoon. This was first started in the Orono School last year. The Officiai Opening Ceremonies of the Orono Post Office will be held on Friday, September 29, commencing at 7:00 o'clock in the evening. Mr. Russell C.
