Assistsby Garett Wood (12) and Evan Moore (9). A & R managed to trickle one past Garrett MacDonald (11) tending goal, but he grabbed it before it crossed the line. Just before the period ended, A & R did get one past him, to close the period traiing 2- 1. Early in the second, Evan Moore was stopped twice by A & R's goalie on what looked like sure goals. At-6:58, Doug Garlick (5), on a break-away, made no mistake. He had a good look and shot it low in the corner. Assista from Ian Knox (14) and Justini Caruana (4). On bis first shift in thethird period, Doug Garlick blew, one by the goalie on the long side on passes from Eric Kuening (17) and goaltender Garrett MacDonald. With 4:15 left in the game, Deug Garlick, attaining Uic elusive . natura1 bat trick', was ia alene and Uic goalie came eut trying to poke check him, but managed te deflect the shot high in thenet.
